Editorial Standards

Guardian Chemicals publishes articles and guides for facility managers, operators and maintenance teams who work with water treatment and industrial chemistry. This page explains how that content is produced, checked and kept up to date.

Who writes our content

Our articles are planned and written by Guardian’s marketing team together with our technical specialists and field staff. Each article names the Guardian specialist who reviewed it.

How we use AI tools

We use AI writing tools to help with research, outlining and first drafts. They don’t decide what we publish. A person at Guardian edits every article, and a technical specialist checks it before it goes live. When an image on our site was generated by AI and shows a realistic scene, the caption says so.

How we check accuracy

Before an article is published, a Guardian specialist with experience in the subject reviews it for technical accuracy. Product information is checked against our Product Data Sheets and Safety Data Sheets. When we cite a regulation, standard or outside study, we link to the source.

Keeping content current

Regulations, standards and products change. We review published articles and update them when the information changes. Updated articles show the date of the latest revision.

Corrections

If you find an error in one of our articles, email us at info@guardianchem.com and we’ll review it and fix it.

General information only

Our articles are general information. They don’t replace a site assessment, a water analysis, or the label and Safety Data Sheet for a specific product. Results depend on your system and operating conditions, so talk to a Guardian representative before applying anything you read here to your facility. See our Terms of Use for more.
