AQUAGUARD 510

Guardian Chemicals open recirculating cooling water treatment programs are design to promote water conservation by maximizing cycles of concentration to ensure efficient and cost effective operation while minimizing maintenance and chemical costs.

AQUAGUARD 510 is a multi-functional zinc/phosphate based blend specially formulated for scale and corrosion inhibition in open recirculating cooling water systems. This provides effective corrosion control for mild, stainless, and galvanized steel while also controlling scale by dispersing suspended solids and preventing deposition.

AQUAGUARD 510 has been designed to be used in conjunction with AQUAGUARD 511 to provide complete cooling water scale and corrosion control. The AQUAGUARD 510 and 511 treatment program provides effective scale inhibition and dispersant properties combined with complete ferrous and non-ferrous (yellow metal) corrosion inhibition.

AQUAGUARD 510 features a unique tracer technology which allows for remote monitoring of your cooling programs with our optional control systems. With this, you can better track, trend, and log your chemical and water usage while reducing operator testing and time requirements. The end result: increased accuracy for better control, improved results, and overall cost savings.

INDUSTRY APPLICATIONS

AQUAGUARD 510 is specifically formulated to handle the chemical requirements of large open recirculating cooling systems. It is designed for corrosive waters with a calcium hardness of less than 1000 ppm and an M Alkalinity of 35 to 700ppm depending on the pH of the cooling water.
