AQUAGUARD 620

These micro-organisms are not accounted for in typical tests performed on the system water but are responsible for reduced heat transfer efficiency, corrosion, flow restrictions, increased operating and maintenance costs, and increased risk to health and safety. 

AQUAGUARD 620 is a biodispersant, specifically designed to enhance the efficacy of your biocide treatment program to help penetrate, remove and disperse biofilm.

AQUAGUARD 620 functions through three main mechanisms; detergency or cleaning, wetting and defoaming. Detergency reduces the ability of biofilm to adhere to system surfaces thus allowing them to be more easily removed with the water flow through the system. Wetting helps to increase the ability of the biocide treatment to penetrate the biofilm and attack those organisms beyond the surface. Defoaming helps reduce the copious quantities of protein-soil based foams often associated with the breakdown and removal of biofilm during the cleaning process.

AQUAGUARD 620 is nonionic in nature and compatible with all biocide treatment programs.
